Young people across Wales will have the opportunity to gain new skills, build confidence and have their achievements recognised through a new partnership between CAP and Youth Cymru.

The Youth Achievement Award is a nationally recognised qualification that gives young people the opportunity to gain accreditation for their involvement in activities and projects. The programme is designed to recognise their achievements while helping them develop skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership.

Through the new partnership with Youth Cymru, young people taking part in CAP activities in Wales will have the opportunity to work towards a recognised award, helping them develop skills, celebrate their progress and gain recognition for what they achieve.

The programme will also strengthen the offer available to CAP partners across Wales, providing another way for local organisations to engage young people in positive activities and recognise their contribution to their communities.
