Welcome to Community Alcohol Partnerships

Airedale Academy CAP Award 2018 2

Next January we are holding our annual CAP celebration event at the House of Commons in London, when we’ll announce the winners of our 2020 CAP Awards.

These awards recognise exceptional achievements in tackling underage drinking during the preceding year and provide a great opportunity to encourage awareness of the vital work which local partnerships are doing to improve our communities.

You can nominate one or more individuals involved in CAP, your local CAP itself or a local organisation which has played a prominent role in making the CAP’s work a success.

If you’d like a nomination form, please contact gillian@communityalcoholpartnerships.co.uk and do remember to return it by Friday October 11, 2019. We’re looking forward to seeing your nominations!

Period Reports

I welcome the reduction in alcohol related youth anti-social behaviour. The CAP model has promoted effective and innovative partnership work between enforcement agencies, businesses and local community groups and has clearly played an important part in this. I would encourage every area with evidence of alcohol related youth crime to give serious consideration to setting up a CAP to reduce crime and build safer neighbourhoods.
